It has to be You -
Who made me excited to see the day
It has to be You -
Who saw my pain and came to take it away;
It has to be You -
Who fills every space in my heart;
It has to be You -
Who prompts me each day to start;
It has to be You -
Whose uniting love brings the church together;
It has to be You -
Whose peace makes our burdens light as a feather;
It has to be You -
For whom I am thankful each day;
It has to be You -
In whose honor I pray,
Whose heart touches mine each day,
Who washes my sins away,
Who sanctifies and purifies me for another day.
It has to be You.
